NEW TRANSIT LAW EFFECTIVE AS OF NOVEMBER 30,2009
THE FOLLOWING IS MANDATORY IN YOUR CAR:
1) Fire extinguisher car 5lb
2) Two triangle reflectors
3) Tools for changing a tire & a good spare tire
4) Reflective Vest
5) No children under 12 yrs of age in the front seat
6) All must use seat belts, fines are 50--75 mil each
7) Current marchamo & Re Te Ve stickers
8) All bulbs must be working, brakes, turn signals, parking lights, head lights etc, fines are not yet established but will cost points
9) ALL WILL COST POINTS AND WHEN 50 POINTS ARE ACCUMULATED YOU WILL LOSE DRIVERS LICENSE AND MUST TAKE A TRAINING COURSE TO RECOVER YOUR LICENSE.
